Robert first encountered and fell in love with the music of the piano at the ripe old age of four when he heard Richard Clayderman for the first time. It was then that he realized he wanted to be a pianist. It was at Consentino Music where that dream first came true, when after a few years of studies with Mrs. Perronne, he played his first recital. Upon finishing his studies with Mrs. Perronne, he decided to attend the New England Conservatory of Music. Here, Robert met the man who was to become his piano teacher, Mr. David Haggan. He was also taught music theory and analysis and how it related to the piano and the music he loved. Music was no longer a mystery to him and it all started to make complete sense.
It is because of his wonderful music learning experiences as a youth and at the Conservatory that Robert vowed he would teach his students with the same thorough but patient approach he was taught. His philosophy is to always be understanding and willing to nurture the artist within each and every student. We are very honored and privileged to have Robert on our faculty teaching all levels and styles of the piano.
